This website has been designed for you to network with your peers through a professional business chat forum. It is a dedicated area for clinicians to share ‘business’ experiences.
The forum is free, easy to access and use.
It will enable you to share knowledge, providing a gateway to access resources such as business plan and service review templates, recent government guidelines, news and events. You will also be able to access links to other relevant websites.
This is a professional chat forum the objective of which is to put you in touch with other clinicians who are facing the same issues while dealing with NHS reform. For example, why create a service review template for your area when many clinicians in your field have already designed one that is successfully in use?
Some of our members have completed the RMISD, Rochester Medical Institute of Service Development. This is a unique training programme delivered by professional trainers and designed by leading clinicians specifically for nurses working within Urology and Continence.
The aim of the RMISD is to help clinicians develop themselves in the skills, knowledge and confidence to address the non-clinical challenges within today’s NHS.
The RMISD was launched in February 2009, one course has been running throughout 2009 with 100 clinicians ( Continence and Urology backgrounds) completing the programme by the end of November 2009. You will be able to identify which clinicians attended the course by the letters RMISD next to their user name.
